Easily I.D. Patients That Need Testing, Treatments

With a barrage of information and a high volume of patients, weeding through all the data to identify patients who can benefit from testing, treatments or procedures can be challenging.

Instinctive Data (ID) is a potential solution. The next generation of patient care, ID is a powerful, patent-pending, HIPPA-compliant platform that can help healthcare providers identify those patients using real-time electronic claims data close to the point of care.

Description of Technology Employed

ID is a web-based, HIPAA-compliant platform that’s embedded into the MD On-Line (MDOL) practice and claims management system. The web portal is 100% secure and users are given a login and password to view the information.

Ease of Use

The beauty of ID is that it communicates information through a channel that is seamlessly integrated into a healthcare provider’s workflow, so they don’t have to go anywhere ― or do anything differently than they currently do ― for the information to be seen. Currently, 71% of all providers login to the portal at least once a day and 96% of providers login at least once a week.

Configuration/Deployment:

Messages are deployed to the iDashboard, which is located on a provider’s portal homepage, once a month for the duration of the program. From the iDashboard, a user can access the full message and the action items associated with the program. Messages are also disseminated to the provider’s MDOL mailbox.

Advantages

  • · Real-time data helps physicians identify patients who can benefit from testing, treatments, or procedures
  • · Helps healthcare providers make optimal treatment decisions based on a patient’s medical and pharmacy benefits and sponsored support
  • · Allows doctors to diagnose targeted patients based on existing clusters of symptoms
  • · Informs providers of any FDA announcements for the systematic removal of all unapproved medications on the market
  • · Provides healthcare professionals with the tools to identify the patients in their practice that have been affected by certain illnesses and pinpoints when patients are due back for treatments
  • · Improves patient and doctor communication, with direct, personal communications called “Care Alerts” that remind patients when and how to take medication after a prescription has been written, as well as when to come back for future visits
  • · Helps doctors provide personal care during routine visits as a result of chart reminders placed in a patient’s medical record
  • · Allows doctors to analyze the billing and revenue for their offices via a Provider Revenue Center

Disadvantages

  • · Healthcare staff and physicians need to be trained on proper use of the dashboard

Recap

Instinctive Data is a one-of-a-kind platform embedded into a physician’s workflow. It currently comprises a network of more than 60,000 healthcare professionals and millions of patients across the United States. It presents critical (and real-time) data about the types of patients doctors are seeing most, what areas of their business are most profitable and offers a host of other advantages.
