DoD Chooses Cerner to Handle EHR Modernization Project

The Department of Defense has selected Cerner as its vendor for it electronic health record modernization project. So reports EHR Intelligence.

Cerner beat out Epic Systems for the $4.3 billion initial contract. The value of the contract could increase to $9 billion dollars if it runs its projected 10 years.
