For many practitioners, updating charts is one of the most tedious tasks of the day. Nonetheless, it's a critical function, and a necessity. But that doesn't mean that you have to write out, or even type your notes any more. Speech recognition has become a more popular option, particularly with language dictionaries available specifically for the medical profession, and recognition rates upward of 99%.
