The Vital Interaction Patient Interaction System generates a report, which indicates that the patient received the message, whether they confirmed or canceled the appointment and details on the communication. Report details specify if a message was left on an answering machine, if there was no answer, if the system reached a non-working phone number and more.
Vital Interaction integrates with existing practice management or scheduling systems. Vital Interaction’s software captures data directly from those systems at the interval of your choice (hourly, daily, etc.). The data is captured securely via FTP, HTTPS, Web Services or any other secure data transmission protocol. Vital Interaction accepts data in XML, CSV, or customized file format.
There are three deliver methods, text, email and automated voice messages. In the set up, you can chose which method or methods are best for your practice. Also, patients can select the message delivery style they prefer. The system allows patients to respond and interact via text messaging, emails and interactive voice response (IVR). Additionally, the software allows you to customize when the patient will be contacted to confirm the appointment for example one day, one week, etc.
The system will automatically remove a patient from a contact method if the patient requests it. There is a backup message option, so if a patient doesn’t answer the first choice of communication, a message will go out on the second choice.
