Social Media Guidelines Needed: Survey

Last week we ran an article about how a Rhode Island doctor lost her clinical privileges because she posted identifiable patient information on her Facebook account. Now a new survey from Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association finds that despite a significant rise in disciplinary action due to workers misusing social media, there is still a definite lack of procedures and policies for enforcing social media policy.
