Spine Clinic Employee Steals 532 Patient’s Info

An employee of the Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic stole patient health information. So reports the Denver Post.

The HIPAA breach occurred when an employee of the clinic emailed a document to her personal email that contained the protected health information for 532 of the clinic’s patients. Upon learning of the breach the clinic fired the employee.
