Despite Google Glass’ potential to offer mobile health applications for medical professionals, it could be years before the technology becomes widely used in the healthcare community. So reports Fierce Mobile Healthcare.

One major hurdle to widespread use is interoperability. Currently, electronic health record vendors are focused on keeping up with the requirements of Meaningful Use, not compatibility with emerging mobile devices.
