Medication App Leaves Users Exposed

A medication identification app from iPharmacy’s is coming under fire for failing to keep users personal information safe. So reports PC Magazine.

The app, iPharmacy Drug Guide and Pill ID, which won a development award from Google Play, doesn’t encrypt passwords and it sends personal and search information unencrypted across the network. Plus, the app allows several third parties access to the information for analytics.
