Hawaii Upgrades EHRs

Hawaii is taking steps to modernize its electronic health record system. So reports Government Health IT.

 The governor recently appropriated $14 million dollars for improvements to the state’s electronic health record system. In addition to upgrading equipment, the money will help the state standardize the records system and become compliant with the HITECH Act.
