Physicians Hesitant to Prescribe mHealth Apps

QuantiaMD, a social learning network for doctors, conducted a survey of physicians’ use of mHealth apps. So reports Fierce Mobile Healthcare.

 Of the 1,500 doctors that responded, 37% say they have prescribed a mobile health app. Meanwhile, an additional survey of 250 doctors found that 42% won’t prescribe a mobile health app because the apps are not regulated.
