Medicare to Release Physician Pay Data

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid announced they will release physician payment information to the general public. So reports The New York Times.

Medicare will release a detailed breakdown of the $77 billion paid out in 2012. The information involves more than 880,000 health care professionals, but no patient information will be released.
