Tennessee Wants to Alter Telemedicine Rule

Tennessee is contemplating a rule change for telemedicine. So reports EHR Intelligence.

The new rule would require patients to visit their primary care provider in person before engaging in any telemedicine consultations. In addition, the rule would require patients to visit a primary care physician every fourth appoint or annually, whichever comes first.
