Patients Prefer Sharing Info with Virtual Doctors: Study

New research shows people are more likely to disclose personal information if they think they are interacting with a computer. So reports Fierce Health IT.

The study, published in Computers in Human Behavior, monitored the reactions of 239 participants and found that those who thought they were dealing with a computer -- not a human -- were more likely to answer questions truthfully.
