AMA Calls for Removal of Meaningful Use Penalty

At the Interim Meeting of the American Medical Association (AMA) members adopted a new policy. So reports the AMA.

The physicians have called for a halt to Meaningful Use penalties. They believe that true interoperability is needed to achieve Meaningful Use and that technology simply isn't available yet. This policy follows the release of data that shows only 2 percent of eligible physicians has achieved Meaningful Use.
