Informationists Help During Tech Transisitions

In an effort to get medical professionals to adopt emerging technology, UCLA has implemented a Physician Informationists program. So reports U.S. News and World Report.

The program, which began in 2011, is designed to help staff members respond to changing technology. Prior to implementing new technology, members of the Informationist team gather information about the workflow of the doctors, clinicians and nurses affected by the change. The informationists also help the staff navigate the new technology.
