Clinical Decision Support Increases Outcomes

A new study from the Columbia School of Nursing finds that mobile apps with Clinical Decisions Support (CDS) increase diagnosis rates. So reports Healthcare IT News.

The study found that when an app prompted doctors to follow evidence-based guidelines, the accuracy of the diagnosis increased over those apps that just collected results of the exam.
