Male Nurses Average Higher Pay

A report in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that while women nurses outnumber male nurses 10 to 1, women still earn less. So reports Government Health IT.

Even after adjusting for age, race and other factors, male nurses working in an outpatient setting earned $7,700 more than their female counterparts. In a hospital setting, male nurses earned an average of $3,900 more.
