A new clinical trial has physicians attempting to use telemedicine to perform a complex ultrasound remotely. So reports Healthcare IT News.

Doctors in New York will use a tele-robotic ultrasound for distance imaging (TRUDI) device to do a four minute ultrasound on a cardiac patient in Chicago.
