3D-Printed Drug Wins FDA Approval

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the first 3D-printed pill. So reports ABC News.

The new pill, Spritam, is an epilepsy treatment. The 3D printing process creates the pill in layers, which enables it to dissolve easily in water.
