Tufts Virtual Approach Tries to Calm Patients' Pre-op Fears

Tufts has developed a way to alleviate a patient's pre-procedure anxiety. So reports Healthcare IT News.

Prior to the procedure Tufts will give patients a 360 degree view of the medical facility and staff via virtual reality. Patients will get to "meet" the surgeon and understand the flow of their procedure, which Tufts hopes will calm any fears the patient may have about the procedure.
