Stories of Compassion: The Cure to Doctor Burnout?

In 2014, 54% of physicians reported feeling burned out. So reports Hospitals and Health Networks.

To combat burnout Dr. Dael Waxman, medical director for patient-centered programming at Carolinas Medical Center–Mercy in Charlotte, N.C, recommends that doctors spend a few minutes each day writing down stories where they witnessed compassion in the medical setting.
