In Use
The NetPractice MedicalHub has pre-existing national and regional vendor interfaces, and is used for accessing community health records. It allows communication and messaging between physicians, hospitals, IPA’s, labs, radiology and pathology groups. There are several NetPractice modules to choose from, and you have the ability to customize the program by choosing which ones you want to opt-in to.
The medical hub helps to prevent duplication care by allowing community providers to have access to patients records of past encounters, including medication and allergies. This software allows sharing of detailed clinical data in either an open or closed community, which can reduce interface development and maintenance costs for data providers. There is also a module which acts as a secure web portal for patients to access data, and is controlled by the physician.
