Kansas Health Network Plans Patient Portal

The Kansas Health Information Network plans to launch a statewide patient portal in the next month. So reports The Wichita Eagle.

The network believes it will be the first portal of its kind in the nation. It will be free to all Kansas patients and it will allow them to not only see their medical records, but patients will be able to add their own information –such as their diet, exercise habits, the over-the-counter medications they take and their allergies–to the portal

Plus, they will be able to upload records they have from other providers outside of the Kansas network.
