iPads Not That Useful: Residents

A study conducted at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio finds that residents don’t find the Apple iPad clinically useful. So reports Fierce Mobile Healthcare.

The study provided iPads to the residents to use for a year and the end of the year the participants were surveyed on their use of the iPad. It received low marks for daily clinical utility and efficiency in documentation.

However, it was most valued for sourcing articles outside the hospital as a research tool.
