Patients Disagree With Doctors on Tech Use

Patients and physicians disagree on how health technology should be used. So reports iHealthbeat.

A recent survey of both patients and doctors on WebMD found that 84% of patients believe technology should be available to them so they can determine their diagnoses, undergo remote medical tests and access their electronic health records.

Doctors were less enthusiastic about patients using technology as only 6% of doctors surveyed believed patients should use those tools.
