Nurses Dissatisfied with EHRs

A new poll shows that nurses are even more dissatisfied with electronic health records than doctors. So reports EHR Intelligence.

Black Book surveyed 14,000 nurses and found more than 90% believe their organization failed to take nurses' duties into consideration before choosing an electronic health record system. An overwhelming majority of nurses, 85%, reported struggling with an electronic health record on a daily basis, and 84% of those surveyed indicated it has negatively impacted their job satisfaction.
