Washington Patients Get Doctor on Demand

Patients using Washington’s Multi-care Health System will soon have access to a doctor on-demand. So reports MobiHealthNews.

The health system will use Doctor-on-Demand to provide patients with video appointments. The new service, Multi-care Doctor-on-Demand, is available to all Washington state patients. For a fee of $40 patients can consult with a doctor about sports injuries, UTIs and cold or flu symptoms. In addition, the appointment will also link to the patient’s individual health chart on Epic’s MyChart patient portal.
