American Medical Association Board Member Jesse Ehrenfeld, MD, has been named to the Substitutable Medical Applications and Reusable Technology (SMART) project Advisory committee. 

The main goal of the SMART project is to make electronic health records more useful to physicians. The project focuses on infrastructure flexibility and making electronic health records more interoperable.
