Doctors Overwhelmed By Paperwork

Doctors are spending an increasingly large portion of their day doing paperwork. So reports Forbes.

A study recently published in the Annal of Internal Medicine found that doctors, on average, spend two hours doing paperwork for every one hour they spend with patients.

Even in the exam room, doctors spend 52% of the visit examining the patient and 37% of the time doing paperwork (filling out the EHR).
