Healthcare Workers Ready for iPad: Survey

More than half of the respondents to a recent survey are ready to use the iPad in a clinical setting, reports Government Health IT. The survey, conducted by Healthcare IT News, found that while 23% of those surveyed are still hesitant to use the iPad, the vast majority of healthcare workers are eager to see it put to use in a clinical setting.

Nebraska’s statewide health information initiative (NeHII) recently added two retail pharmacies to the program. Both Amber Pharmacy and Kubat Pharmacy will have access to vital patient information and hope to lead the way for other pharmacies to join the exchange, reports Healthcare Technology Online.
