Avoid like the plague!

Terrible product with terrible support! Our business has been crippled several times by their poor implementation and communication. Constant failure to address know issues within their software. We lose a great deal of money thanks to these clowns. Read more...

Chart Manager/customer service

Stay away from Prime Clinical. This software has cost my practice thousands of dollars and the customer support is pathetic. The chart manager could not do the simple task of calculating daily patient totals. Patient demographics just simply disappeared. These problems went on for months, costing me thousands of man hours in phone calls and lost productivity. The customer service is almost non-existent. You will be on hold forever and then get incomplete solutions, thus creating loss of productivity. Phone calls were not returned until I asked to speak to the President. And finally, while transitioning to a new system, the "specialists" extracted the data during working hours without informing my office, thus "kicking" my staff out of the sytem and locking us out. Allscrips experience

I am a Fam med MD using Allscripts for over 2 years now. To make a long story short it has had glitch after glitch. The latest one coming with the newest upgrade in September. Since that time we have experienced multiple issues mostly with the system locking up the screen. This leaves you unable to complete SOAP notes and you must exit and relogin when this happens, and this happens 75% of times "no joke". Literally taking hours to complete a handful of notes. To add to the frustration our IT dept contacts Allscripts concerning this problem weekly and was told" That issue was not on our list of priorities". Really !!! Run away as fast as you can

I was the one who research and decided 6 years ago to go with Practice Partner Software. This was prior to McKesson buying them out. I was always able to talk to a tech and resolve any problem. In the day it was the best on the market. As I write this I now have been on hold for 4 hours waiting for support to pick up the phone. I also have 2 emails and I also called on another phone so two lines are now on hold. Long gone are the days of excellent technical support. Chart copy for legal purpose

Sage EHR full chart copy does not produce all the items in the chart. One has to look through item after item and print each item (x5 times the time if it was paper chart) and then send to satisfy the legal requirement. hopefully the SAGE will address this major problem and comply with Fedreal regulations.xiQ3 Read more...

McKesson Practice Partner is Terrible

We have been using Practice Partner for the past 3 years and have only seen things get worse in regards to upgrades and service. We are an ASP site and our system breaks weekly. Calling in almost daily to get help and waiting hours at a time on hold. The latest upgrade broke more things than it fixed and we still can't scan any documents into our EMR- despite NUMEROUS phone calls to tech support & our account rep. Do NOT buy this system! HATE IT

USING X 4 MONTHS NOW, HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT. NextGen generates huge volumes of blather that efficiently buries all of the useful patient information which is stored in multiple barely labled files that can not be organized chronolocially. E-mail, labs, and all sorts of vital patient information get buried under the huge amounts of garbage NG generates. Office efficiency is sacrificed, staff (and drs) are unhappy. Agreed

I agree completely with Dr. Le. As an dental Practice Administrator I am so disappointed by the slowness to implement changes, even when it comes to our liability as a healthcare provider. This software works well in general but there are some issues that I cannot get over. The support people basically tell you that you are s.o.l. when it comes to most things. Read more...

Core Measures

I have been using the MacPractice for a year and half now. They have been slow to update their system. I have not been able to file for the incentives on Meaningful use core measures so far. They can't even tell me when the next update will be available. Very frustrating! Read more...
